Installing IPTV sounds more technical than it is. On almost every device it comes down to the same five steps.
Step 1: check your device and connection
Make sure your device software is up to date and your connection is stable. About 10–15 Mbps per HD stream is a good guideline. See also devices.
Step 2: install a IPTV app
Choose an IPTV app from your device's app store that supports your service's login method, such as Xtream Codes or an M3U playlist.
Step 3: enter your login details
Open the app, choose the right method and enter your details. Watch out for capital letters and spaces: a typo is the most common reason sign-in fails.
Step 4: load channels and TV guide
The app now loads the channel list and on-demand library, plus the EPG if your service provides one. The first load can take a moment.
Step 5: personalise
- Create a list of favourite channels.
- Hide categories you don't use.
- Adjust buffer size and video player if the app offers these options.
Troubleshooting
Can't sign in
Check your details for typos and confirm you picked the correct login method. Copy and paste where possible.
Picture stutters or keeps loading
Use a network cable, restart router and device, and pause other downloads. Try a different video player or larger buffer in the app.
