What is an EPG?
An EPG shows the schedule per channel: what's on now, what's next and often a short description. Most IPTV apps display it as a grid with channels vertically and time horizontally.
How does the EPG get into your app?
The IPTV service supplies programme data, often in XMLTV format. Your IPTV app fetches that data and matches it to the right channels. With Xtream Codes login this usually happens automatically; with an M3U playlist you sometimes enter an EPG link yourself.
EPG empty or wrong?
- Refresh the EPG manually in the app settings.
- Check your device's time zone; a wrong time zone shifts the schedule.
- Give it a few minutes after first install; large guides take time to load.
- Not every channel has programme data. That's normal.
